Americans to Rededicate the Nation as “one Nation under GOD,” on May 17

On 29 January 2026, President Donald J. Trump issued A Proclamation (quoted in full) that 2026 is a “Year of Celebration and Rededication,” calling upon all citizens of the United States to “rededicate ourselves as one Nation under God.”  A week later, at the National Prayer Breakfast, he announced the national Rededicate 250 (link included) event to be held on May 17, in Washington, D.C., on the National Mall.
